As something that is constantly in your pocket, a smartphone is a great place to keep some recipes on hand -and that is just what Channel 4 are offering with Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s Fish Fight App. We need to start eating more varied fish species in order to let the stock of cod and other overfished species recover, and the Fish Fight App offers 50 recipes for making use of sustainable fish from Hugh and other celebrity chefs.
The app was designed with the help of the Marine Conservation Society, and that foodie haven Selfridges – and gives colourful and clear access to recipes, videos and even a restaurant guide from Fish2Fork to help you eat sustainable fish when dining out as well.
