Samsung Galaxy Y Comes To Vodafone

Samsung Galaxy Y

Samsung seems to be rolling out a new phone every few weeks, not that we’re complaining, with the latest one being the Galaxy Y. The Y stands for “youth” apparently, but the styling looks like it will appeal to most people – and at £10.50/month the price will as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Y is a tiny little smartphone (104 x 58 x 11.5mm) and weighing just 97g and comes running Android Gingerbread (2.3.5), with an 832MHz CPU, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, a 2MP camera, and 160MB storage upgradeable up to 32GB with a MicroSD slot. The screen is only a 3″ capacitive LCD, and not a whizzbang 5″ Super AMOLED Plus, but coming in free on contracts costing the same as a take-way per month – it is still pretty impressive.

The Samsung Galaxy Y is free on contracts from £10.50/mo on Vodafone
Or if you’d prefer it on Orange, you can get it for 6.54/mo (after cash-back) from Dial-a-Phone
