Huawei Branded Smartphones Coming To UK In September

Huawei has long been an OEM phone manufacturer for the UK mobile phone networks, but starting next month they will also start to provide phones with the Huawei brand. The Chinese company then plans to expand its branded phone offerings into USA, Japan, India and Indonesia in 2012, and more than triple their handset sales to 20 million by 2015.

According to Bloomberg the first Huawei branded device they plan to offer for sale in the UK is the Android-based Blaze smartphone which could be available for as low as £100. We have no further details on that phone at the moment, but have heard rumours of another phone they are gearing up to release – the Vision which will come packing a 3.7″ display, a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, and 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording – all in a unibody case. It sounds like a competitor to offerings from Samsung and HTC to us!
