More rumours are abound surrounding the supposedly imminent release of the Apple iPhone 5 – this time started by UK mobile network O2’s parent company Telefonica that they are reducing stock of the iPhone 4 in preparation of a release of the next generation iPhone on 12th September. That’s just one month away folks.
The simple fact is that no-one outside of a very tight group of Apple and Foxconn employees have seen the finished article – but that hasn’t stopped us taking a look at the various tidbits of information people have supposedly leaked about Apple’s next flagship product…
The image above is a render from designer Michal Bonikowski, showing off a likely change in the iPhone 5 being a metal back rather than the often cracked glass shell found on current iPhones. Other rumoured and likely changes will be a change to a dual-core CPU, an 8 megapixel back camera capable of 1080p full HD video, and a 5 megapixel front camera for better quality FaceTime.
With the rumour mill escalating right now though, an announcement from Apple should be coming soon.
