According to a post on Chromium Code – work is already underway on the mobile version of the browser, and it may be released in the near future – possibly at Samsung’s Google Episode event at San Diego next week. Whether Chrome (the Google-backed open browser) will become the default browser on Android (the Google-backed open mobile OS) has not yet been announced, although it does seem likely. Some form of Google+ integration seems a strong possibility for the mobile browser as well, alongside easy link sharing and bookmark syncing.
Hopefully an announcement will come shortly…
