Wacom Inkling Captures Your Drawings On Paper Digitally

Wacom Inkling

Wacom have made the transition between a pencil/paper sketch and digital even easier with the release of Inkling that lets you record your drawings “stroke by stroke”. It even lets you create digital layers whilst sketching with the push of a button.

All you need to do is insert a sheet of paper or a notebook into the receiver and then sketch away with the Inkling Digital Pen just as you would in the analogue world. The works can then be stored as JPEG, BMP, TIFF, PNG, SVG and PDF files for use in other digital applications as well as directly transferred to Photoshop, Illustrator, and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro/Designer. The video says it all really. Wow.

Digital art is growing in popularity and those who are interested in learning about how art and technology intersect may find online university degrees to be of interest.
