HTC yesterday unveiled their latest Sensation smartphone in the Sensation XL – and it definitely has a screen to live up to that XL name! It is penned for a November release, and offers some of the most bleeding-edge technologies available which puts it up alongside the popular Samsung Galaxy SII and soon to be released Apple iPhone 4S.
Here’s the specs:
- 4.7″ Super LCD screen with 800×480 resolution
- 9.9mm think
- 1.5GHz single core Qualcom Snapdragon CPU
- 768MB RAM
- 16GB Flash Storage included (but no MicroSD slot for expansion)
- 8 megapixel camera with f2.2 lens and dual-LED flash
- Beats Audio technology
- Ur Betas earbuds or Solo headphones
- Anroid 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with HTC Sense UI 3.5 skin
As some others have noted, the specs are rather similar to the HTC Titan which runs WP7 – but it is pretty clear HTC are targeting Android lovers with a penchant for music with this device (although they could have upped the storage to be perfectly honest).
No word yet on pricing.
