It has been rumoured for a couple of years, and wanted to the digital UK population for just as long – but Netflix has finally announced they will be coming to these shores in early 2012.
Netflix will be bringing its film and TV episode streaming services to the UK for “a low monthly price” – although there is no information on what the price will be as yet. There is also no information on whether the TV shows will be mostly US-centric, or whether the company has put deals in place with UK production companies and broadcasters – but competition for Amazon‘s recently acquired LoveFilm can only be a good thing for UK consumers.
