We are spoiled for choice with great smartphones available these days at impressively low prices thanks to the rise of Chinese brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus. And some of their very latest devices are on sale right now, whether you are looking for bleeding-edge tech or something a little more cost efficient.
OnePlus 7T
OnePlus has long been a leader in making premium smartphones for mid-range prices and the OnePlus 7T ($599.99) is one of their best with its Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 6.55″ AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and clean Android 10 experience.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro
The Xiaomi 9T Pro ($449.99) was one of the first smartphones to have a true full screen display without the interruptions of a notch or cut-out thanks to its little popup camera. Beyond the pretty screen it also packs an impressive punch with a Snadragon 855 CPU, 6.39″ display, and 48MP camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8
Whilst the other two smartphones above are flagship devices at mid-range prices, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 ($184.99) is a more mid-range device for a budget price. It comes with a Snapdragon 665 CPU, 6.3″ display and a 48MP camera, so more than you could ever hope in something double the price!
Tablet deals and discounts
Unlike the iPad, Android tablets never quite took off the way some analysts expected, but if you want a lightweight and low cost device to watch Netflix on while you travel, then there is nothing better. Xiaomi’s Mi Pad range can compete with an iPad on looks and performance for a fraction of the cost, whilst some lesser known Chinese brands can be even cheaper.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus ($319.99) is one of the best tablets on the market today with a bright 10.1″ 1920 x 1200 FHD display, 64GB of storage (+MicroSD card support), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU, 4G support, and an impressive battery life.
Teclast M30
Teclast is not as well an established brand as Xiaomi, but they consistently produce great value electronics and at $169.99 the Teclast M30 is a steal. The 10.1″ Android 8 tablet comes packing a 8 core Helio P70 processor and 4G support, but where it really shines is the display which offers a staggering 2560 x 1600 resolution.
Laptop deals and discounts
BMAX are a new entrant to the electronics space this year, but they came our of the blocks flying with arguably the two best budget convertible laptops/tablets on the market in the BMAX Y11 and the BMAX Y13 – and today they are both on sale at Banggood.
BMX Y11
The BMAX Y11 ($329.99) is a 11.6″ 1080P convertible Windows laptop powered by an Intel Gemini Lake N4100 CPU with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It’s notably smaller and lighter than your standard 13.3″ laptop and works great both as a productivity device that will fit in any bag as well as a media consumption device when put into “tent mode”.

Just like it’s smaller brother, the BMAX Y13 ($369.99) has a 360 degree convertible hinge so works great both as a standard-sized 13.3″ laptop as well as a fantastic way to watch movies on its bright 1080P 13.3″ IPS display. It too is powered by an Intel Gemini Lake N4100 CPU with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, but with the bigger chassis comes a bigger battery and an all-metal premium quality build.
