1. Ariana Grande

For the last two years, Ariana Grande has dominated the music industry.

Her hit singles, “Thank U, Next,” “7 Rings,” and “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” all ranked at 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. And “Thank U, Next” has become the most-watched music video on YouTube.

Ariana’s singles off of Thank U, Next have all charted high on Spotify. In fact, Thank U, Next broke a record for Spotify’s global, single-day streaming of a female artist with a whopping 8.2 million streams. Turns out pop breakup songs are something any music fan can get behind.

Drake

2019 has been a great year for Drake. In February, he re-released his 2009 mixtape, So Far Gone, for the first time, which debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 100 and was the third most-streamed album. And his album from last year, Scorpion, is still quite high in the Billboard 200.

Drake’s made over 11 million dollars in label streaming revenue since the start of the year. And his total audio and video streams is well over 2 billion!

3. Post Malone

Post Malone seized Spotify in late 2018 with “Sunflower,” a song from the award-winning film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which has topped the charts and streaming services.

His musical efforts have paid off this year, as he’s made over 10 million dollars in total label streaming revenue and has amassed over 2.6 billion video streams this year.

4. Juice WRLD

In just a short amount of time, Juice WRLD has captured the attention of R&B and hip-hop fans worldwide with his catchy lyrics and emo-rap style.

WLRD started off as a SoundCloud sensation but took over the charts with his LP Death Race for Love, which had the biggest streaming week in 2019 for any R&B or hip-hop album.

The rest of the year looks bright for Juice WLRD. He’s currently working on music with Ski Mask the Slump God. And his streaming stats are great as he’s garnered almost 2 billion total audio and video-on-demand streams so far this year.
