Smartphones are getting bigger, with even Apple getting in on the trend with the iPhone 6 Plus, but these larger devices can be a hassle to keep accessible when listening to music walking the streets or working out in the gym.

Bluetooth headphones have been around for a while, but most hi-quality cans still don’t offer Bluetooth and this is where the Adapt Bluetooth Headphone Adapter comes in. The little device, which is about the size of an iPod Nano, pairs with any Bluetooth device and lets you plug in your favourite headphones.

This means that you can keep your music or podcasts playing from your oversized smartphone or tablet in a backpack, while you control everything through the miniature device. And you can still use the retro headphones you love like the Pioneer Monitor 10s or Koss Pro4AAs. Retro style has never been so technically advanced.

The Adapt also contains a microphone, so you can use your trusty headphones just like their were those made specifically for your device, letting you walk and talk with ease.

On the specifications front, the Adapt has a rechargeable Li-Polymer battery that offers 5-6 hours of playback or 150 hours of standby time. It has four buttons, volume up and down, and track forward and back and can connect to Bluetooth devices up to 9m away using A2DP for high quality stereo sound streaming and AVCRP to control track and volume remotely.
