The news over the last two weeks has been dominated by the hacking scandal at the News Of The World and later across News International, a story which has surfaced due to the quality journalism at The Guardian. Now, then, seems a good time to highlight The Guardian’s app which provides more than just a pretty interface for reading content from The Guardian on your iPhone. It offers offline reading, audio and video content on-demand, access to trending topics, and most usefully in my opinion – access to their liveblogs.
If you are a Guardian reader already, or just appreciate quality journalism and multimedia content then The Guardian iPhone app is worth a download, with the basic app for free offering a selection of top stories, with the full content available for a £2.99 one-off in-app purchase.
Available on: iPhone
