RIM are playing catch-up with iPhones and Android phones with their Blackberry touchscreen interface (Blackberry 7 OS) that is based on the QNX technology from their purchase of that company last year, and Verizon has managed to leak a video of their latest device the Blackberry 9930.
The video is linked to as the Blackberry 9950, but the 9930 actually shown and described offers up a 1.2 GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash that is capable of 720p video. All this alongside Blackberry’s famed physical keypad and a 2.8″ capacitive touchscreen to get your grubby fingers all over. The 8GB onboard memory is expandable with a up to a 32GB SD card as well (see that Apple!)
