Google has just announced their 3rd quarter results, and it appears the recession is nowhere in sight for the search engine giant – with revenues up 33% on the same period last year at $9.7 billion.
Here are some of the highlights from the earnings report:
- Google-owned sites generated revenues of $6.74 billion, or 69% of total revenues in Q3 2011 – a 39% increase in revenues.
- AdSense partner sites generated revenues of $2.60 billion, or 27% of total revenues in Q3 2011 – a 18% increase in revenues.
- Revenues from outside of the US totalled $5.3 billion – 55% of total revenues in Q3 2011.
- Revenues from the UK totalled $1.05 billion – 11% of revenues in Q3 2011 – a 1% decrease.
What does all this mean? Well it means Google is doing better than ever with a cool $42.6 billion in the bank with an increasingly international and broad portfolio.
