Tablet prices look to be coming down for 2012, with the BalckBerry Playbook already having been dropped to £169, and now the Android running 7″ HTC Flyer is being sold at £199.
The HTC Flyer is packing a rapid 1.5 GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, a 7″ capacitive display, WiFi, a 5MP back camera and a 1.3MP front camera for video calls – all running Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) with the HTC Sense 2.1 for tablets UI. All this for £199 sounds like a pretty good deal to treat yourself to with your Christmas cash.

Not so sure about the Flyer – when is it getting Ice Cream Sandwich? Gingerbread is not exactly great for tablets…
