If you’re like me, you’ll often forget to charge your phone overnight leaving you with on 40-50% of juice to carry you through the next day, with your phone dying on the nightbus home,leaving you no choice but to listen to the drunk rambles of a man eating Chicken Cottage. Well, such hardships may be over if this new device by an Israeli startup StoreDot is to be believed.
The company says that their revolutionary charger works by using “nanodots derived from bio-organic material that, due to their size, have both increased electrode capacitance and electrolyte performance, resulting in batteries that can be fully charged in minutes rather than hours.”
You don’t have to understand it to appreciate that the video above shows a Samsung galaxy S4 being charged in just 30 seconds.
